I'm a VHS collector. I love them, there are movies on VHS that just aren't available on DVD, and it's fun to pick through them. Right now I have around three hundred or more VHS, and around two hundred DVD's. I have a lot of collector's stuff, like Saturday the 14th and Howard the Duck. I am still coveting The Keep, which I bought only to discover it didn't play, and The Monster Squad, because that didn't play either.

I've bought quite a few DVDs that didn't play...I even bought the same one twice because the first one didn't play...And the second one didn't play either...I've NEVER had that happen with VHS...

I'm just glad I got my money back, because they were both SUPER expensive. Look up either of those movies on Amazon and check the prices out! I mean, really, they are ridiculous. It's not like they shit gold or something....
The movies I mean.:D

Aww...You can find one on eBay, too

I'm afraid of EBay.
More'n most people, even.
I've had so many people tell me to stay away from EBay, it's kind of turned into a boogeyman by now. They E-Boogey.

Hmm, that's odd...I've been using it for 3 years, and I haven't had any problems *knocks on wood*...I've found tons of movies for less than $5 (and that's INCLUDING shipping and handling)...But, I ALWAYS check all feedback, and read any negative comments to sellers...I don't buy anything from anyone with less than 99% positive feedback...Maybe that's how I've avoided problems...

But...Right now I can't find Bette Davis's 'The Nanny' for less than $22...*sigh*

The good thing about eBay is, if you don't find what you're looking for today, it might be there tomorrow...So, I just keep looking :)

I like Ebay because I like used stuff, and there's lots of that, cheap. I've had good experiences there, generally.
