Their lyrics completley level me, no one comes close. Soul, integrity and total DIY ethic. To me they are the embodiment of what music should and can be.

But yeh dude its hard to pick one band but Dead Moon and Assuck are the total killer shit I'll be listening to forever.

me and the wife's band's first local show is Monday nite, my birthday! we'll be playing with some friends of ours from Missouri and a band that's on tour with them. we're hoping it's not crowded when we play (being as its our first local show, we're expecting Murphy's Law to kick us in the ass).
