Batman, Joker, Aliens and Predators... geek heaven! it's called Batman: Dead End and there's another link to it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzATt15OAv0 watch! |
On youtube, I also saw this cool idea (fake trailer type thing) some students threw together for a film set after the death of batman called "grayson". Minus some dodgy effects, it actually looked pretty cool...

The Predator of AVP2 Talks
Source: Darkness January 12, 2007 AvPGalaxy has done another Alien vs. Predator 2 interview, this time with Ian Whyte, who played the Predator in both "AVP" and "AVP2." The interview covers how he became an actor, his experiences on "AVP," what it was like working with the Strause brothers on "AVP2," and how the Predator has changed since the first film as well as what we can expect from the upcoming sequel. Here's a clip: AvPGalaxy - Were there many changes to the suit for the second film that might have made it easier for you to wear? I mean, the first suit did look rather bulky. Ian Whyte - Absolutely! Apart from little design stylisations to make the character unique, the new costume is entirely reminiscent of the original; it was very tight fitting and was designed to make the Predator more svelte, lithe and athletic in appearance. AvPGalaxy - Which of the two films has been your favourite to work on and why? Ian Whyte - AVP was a joy to work on because I had never, ever done anything quite like that before. It was a big budget film, with a high profile and it was great to be in a city like Prague for six months. AVP2 has been a real achievement by everyone who worked on it. It was a pleasure to work with old friends again and a pleasure to make some new ones, but if you are putting a gun to my head and asking me to choose, then I would have to say AVP2. AVP was a great film and was hugely successful, but as far as the concept of battles between Aliens and Predators goes; you ain't seen nothing yet! ----------------------------------------- I would see this movie only for action value b/c we all know that the story will suck ass! |
i saw the first one and thought it was good, so i will see this one too

the movies it is based on come from amazing directorial pedigrees: Predator: John McTiernen: Die Hard and Die Hard with a vengance. Predator 2: cant remember his name, but directs 24, and did The Ghost In the Darkness and a few other decent and well liked movies (he also did NOES 5) Alien: Ridley Scott Aliens: Jim Cameron Alien 3: David Fincher Alien: Ressurection: The guy who did City of Lost Children. Alien Vs Predator: Paul W S Anderson. Made Resident Evil and Event Horizon. NOT a good irector. Everythign he does feels... overdone and lacking talent. This does not give me hope for part 2 being anythign other than awful. But hey, if you like it, you like it. I like Virtuosity, and i dont really know anyone else who does. |
One of my friends was watching it and
*spoilers* he left the room for a minute and when he asked what happened his frind told him the Predator had made a shield and spear for the woman from the Alien. He laughed and laughed... until he found out his friend was telling the truth. Like I said, I didn't hate it but why put humans in there in the first place? Have the Aliens invade a Predator ship or planet or... something! Just a big bloody balls out fight to the death. |
