Believe it or not, my first job was a beer-boy in a liquor store. We would stock the coolers with beer and carry out cases for customers.

Stocking the coolers in the back room....away from the boss....if ya get my drift...was a fun time.

At seventeen....it was the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

Very first and shortest job was working as a Busser at a Buffett, until my supervisor went mad when his 15 year old girlfriend broke up with him and he started throwing trash cans around and hit me.

My grandfather owned a painting business when I was a kid, so I started painting houses at the age of 10 during the summers during the week, what fun I tell ya, nah actually it wasn't too bad a job for being a kid, and making about 250 to 300 a week, was pretty cool...

I stuffed Sunday newspapers early Saturday morning.

It was horrible.

It took hours to get the ink off my hands.

My first job was waiting tables at a resturaunt my parents owned at the time. It blew, there are no labor laws when your parents were involved. I don't think I ever saw a paycheck from my dad and the tips sucked.

Just an update:

Im loving this job. I mostly work out at the gas bar, and with gas prices the way they are hardly anyone wants to pay an extra 5 cents per litre for me to pump their gas. So basically, I sit in my little booth with the radio blaring, occasionally getting up to fill a car. Easiest job EVER.

I was a text-fitter for a book bindery. Basically, people measured the spine of a book, put the title on a slip of paper & handed it to me. I entered it into a computer, decided what size the text should be, hyphenated where need be & spell checked. If the title wouldn't fit on horizontal, I put it on vertical. Dear god, was it boring.
