That's what I did, got it on sale for $6. As for "The Fog", it wasn't horrible, but it sure could've been made way better. I did like some of the kill scenes like 'fire guy', although I laughed at how the kid's aunt started rotting away when the arm grabbed her. She was fully intact, though completely rotted, and 1 second later, she's a totally charred skull with traces of flesh as she lands on the floor. I do prefer the creepy tones of the original, but it's too slow and I think it was the priest who was the only person who died in it at the very end. The remake was much faster paced, cool kill scenes, a couple not-so-good CGI effects, hence not as well made. I'll buy the remake when it gets marked down to $5. |
