I got it. I opened up the casing, unlodged the DVD and dragged the it out from the back. Not so stupid now with my star screwdriver now, huh?

could've just gotten a regular screwdriver of pocket knife and pried the door open manually.

I actually did try that after I called a guy at a videostore and he told me that I could pry as much as I wanted and not worry about breaking anything. However, I tried it and got scared because I was really pulling and it didn't seem like it was going to come past a certain point.

that's the gears. I did the same thing with my PS2, it's fine

Oh, hopefully it doesn't happen again but atleast I know an easy way to do it next time.
