AVP was its own movie they never had any intention to put Riply in it. I'm talking about the Alien series itself, I think that if another one were done that it should bring closure to Riply's life again.

AVP was so fucked-up that I'm glad they didn't tie it too closely to the Alien or Predator series. They actually strayed way off from both series especially Predator.

Ripley is whats cool about the Alien films, she's the ultimate survivor with a strange connection to her worst nemesis. They certainly could start from scratch with new characters, but I think, as Sig ages, they can incorporate that into the Ripley saga. In the right hands (Christopher Nolan, Darren Aronofsky, maybe even give Fincher another shot) it could be an awesome closer.

Alien movies should focus on the Aliens not Ripley...we know her story by now..

i got Alien Quatrilogy for christmass and i have seen alien, aliens, and alien 3.

and i think that Alien Ressurection will stay the last one.

coz Ripley is dead.

unless they clone her again they should not do a fifth one.

either i would like a fifth one.

On the fourth one she finally makes it to earth, after a million years.
