He wasn't happy with it, but there's some question as to why, exactly. It's rumored that QT, once Reservoir Dogs was a hit, and getting the green light for Pulp, he tried to get NBK rights back, to which Stone refused. QT had sold it for relatively cheap, and wanted the rights back for relatively cheap, then sell them again for tons more, or do the movie himself. That's part of his backlash against it, I think. |
