unless you or your frineds busted it, with or without knowing, then the land lord will probably get all arsey about it if you refuse to pay for repares.

at My first apartment, we had a ton of shit break, plus we managed to damage quite a bit ourselves. On top of that, we smoked almost constantly in a non-smoking apartment. Rather than deal with any of that bullshit (and since my room mate had recently fucked me out of over 2 grand) i left and stuck him with dealing with it :)

Shit, don't tell them. Go to Lowes, Home Depot or somewhere, get the shit yourself and fix it. Holes in walls and door replacements are simple tihngs to repair. It'd save you a bundle from the looks of it.
