There are large lobby groups, such as NORML, that are devoted to the legalization of marijuana. I think I already clearly stated that I did not want the "yeah, I'm a stoner" replies. I think this forum (astoundingly enough) is discussing this topic very well.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm 27, have a decent occupation, am of sound and rational mind, and I don't use illicit drugs.

There isn't any law where it is legal in any U.S state. Its legal for Patients (or their primary caregivers) to legally possess up to 1 ounce of usable marijuana and may grow up to six plants. There is a confidential state-run patient registry.

So, no its not legal UNLESS you have a medical condition

Nah, I get what you mean. Weed is a drug and sometimes people don't act like its any big thing. Sure, its not crack or heroin. But you can still get hooked and you can still become a addict.

You should have never been in jail for a year. No matter what. Weed doesn't kill anyone. Unlike Alcohol. I hate when people act like Alcohol isn't a drug... They say they "drink"... I don't use drugs, I "drink"... Fuck we all drink! water.. Its not like your drinking beer to stay alive.
