Universal has moved up the release date of George Romero's upcoming zombie film Land of the Dead to June 24. Its previous Oct. 21 spot will now be occupied by the video-game adaptation Doom.

i truth i dont really care if they run or walk

i think it should depent on how long they have been dead and how they died.

for example a guy who got bit and turned should run to start with and the longer hes dead the slower he should be.

and a dude whos been dead for 50 years should crawl or stumble and consintly fall.

Makes sense.

I could live with afst moving zombies if there some sense of organized logic to it like that.

I still don't think Romero's zombies will run though.

I agree with Kung. What he said makes perfect sense...why the hell would you stumble and walk if you got your arm bit off. You wouldn't. Now, on the other hand, I think Romero will use running zombies. The Dawn of the Dead remake used runners, and I'm pretty sure besides us die hard horror fans, all other people out there have their expectations set, and Romero's a good enough director that I think he will probably use the runners. There's one man's opinion.

(I am not saying I want runners, because I actually haven't quite made up my mind...but Romero'll use 'em)

if we keep applying logic to zombies - sooner or later someone is going to point out the inevitable ..

when a person dies - they dont come back.
lack of oxygen (the cause of EVERY death) causes damage to the brain.

Which could impair any kind of movement at all.
