it doesn knid of fit the genre though.

Human or semi human pathological killer murders teenage victims onbe at a time.

However, calling it a ghost story leaves a better taste in my mouth.

it has simularities (dead teenagers) but the structure and excecution it a lot more complex than a standard slasher ..

there were a lot of stand out moments you wont find in a slasher ... all the dream sequence stuff ...not knowing when you were asleep or not, etc ...

I think the misconception is that just because there's "slashing" in the movie, it doesn't make it a slasher.

Dog Soldiers was an action flick more than anything...
