I remember vividly seeing They Live for the first time last year. i had not seen it before because when i used to go to get cheesy horror flicks with freinds, they always insisted that it was a terrible movie with no point, and i assumed they might be right since it was Roddy Piper.... A pro wrestler for one thing, and one who wore a kilt for the next.

Boy were they wrong. I bet if i had sunglasses, i would have seen my "freinds" werent all they seemed....

That whole movie is just a classic. i love it.

it was one of most classic examples of how a great director could get a good performance out of a bad actor.

watch hell comes to frogtown if you wand to see a poor directer get a lame performance out of the same bad actor.

My theory has always been .. anyone can act - its the director and the editor who determine if a film is bad or not.

A truly awful line from the greatest Star Wars movie ever:
You stuck up, self centered, scruffy looking... Nerf Herder!

I wanted princess leia to sit on my face even before i knew what that meant, but jesus christ, i cringe whenevetr i hear that...
Although i always loved Han's rebuttle:
Who are you callin' scruffy lookin'?

cant fault authenticity ..

So? It was poorly delivered (although, I'm not sure there's a RIGHT way to deliver a line like that), and just because it's in the comic doesn't mean it should be in the movie. Some things are just better left on the page

i didnt mind it so much .. she was always saying Tiger in the comics .. always ..
I kind of appreciate Raimi's devotion to authenticity (as much as possible)

Didnt stick in my head as that bad a delivery either ..I'll have to watch it again ...

Well I'm not sure this is stupid, but I didn't understand it. Yep, I'm quite stupid :p. It's from The Ring:
woman: Don't worry, she's safe now.
boy: she never sleeps...
