When i lived in Germany, i saw a fish bite a duck.

No kidding, a big ol' carp bit a duck right on the foot. It wanted some bread that people were tossing in, and the duck ate it, so the fish bit him. the duck freaked out.

Ever see a duck afraid of water? Its odd.

when ducklings (or goslings) are born on the St Laurence River where i lived (right across from new york state) they might have 12 hatchlings - but if 5 or 6 survive they are doing well ..

the pike eat them in the water and racoons try to get them on the land.

geese are tough ass birds - was tougher than ducks ..

and swans ... that are the toughest water fowl of them all ..

thats the only bird like that that bothers me ..

they hiss and those big long necks bring their beaks right up to head level.

geese and ducks though .... nah ... its hard to be afraid of something with no claws or teeth, that you could kick like a football

Funniest bird name:
"Swallow"

Hey, swallows and ducks (and a goose) are all birds that are also verbs... Imagine that :D
