SHAUN OF THE DEAD & UZUMAKI (hope the timings right there).

I loved jeepers creepers...the scene in/under the pipe was one of the first FUCKED UP scenes in quite some time, very tense...and actually scary, not to mention that the bad guy finally broke the cycle by NOT being some slasher teen with a lame crybaby excuse in a few YEARS.
I thought the end was interesting but dissapointing (in that I said "fuck" 'cos I wanted to see more), and I regret the second one being not half as good as the first, but look at it this way, JC1 (and final destination) pretty much finally killed off the scream clones...for this I commend them.

was Final Destination 2 2000+ ?
If so it gets my vote too ..

It was a fantastic suprise, especially considering the lame duck origional. This gem came out of nowhere.

Not only was the initial freeway accident scene one of the best most intense effective series of events ive seen filmed in a scare flick, but the kills after that were very inventive, reminiscent of the older horror movies (i.e. The Omen, etc) where some serious thought was given to creating spectacular deaths.
Serious fun for someone looking for something a little more nostalgic.

While I preferred the first one myself, they both came pretty close to eachother. I wasn't dissapointed by #2, I actually thought I would be...
I have to agree on the pileup scene at the beginning of FD2, the coreography (?if you can call it that?) of how the initial crash set the "chain" in motion to affect the other traffic was just awesome.
One of my favourite aspects of BOTH films was the "will it" or "won't it" chain reactions, gotta love those.
...although it has to be said that Tony Todd had far better dialogue in the first film. Sinister motherfucker...
