Yeah it seems like they will let any old asshole be a parent these days. I can remember at the time that all I wanted to do was kill the SOB and a few others but thats teen angst I am guessing.

I am sure that there are others that had it way worse than me, I mean when I was a teen I had a roof over my head, I suppose the movie "The Breakfast Club" is a good example of a lot of gen Xers. I would fit in between Judd Nelsons character and Ally Sheedys character, I didnt have the benefit of my parents being well off.

I dont think about it much anymore, I have my own family to worry about and I will NEVER allow what happened to me to happen to them.

I know this is going to sound stupid, but the Eminem song "cleaning out my closet" really hits home for me at times. I kind of feel a connection to the guy I dont know why because I HATE FUCKING RAP MUSIC but for some reason I tolerate his.

Must be because his is about real life instead of big screen TVs,blunts, 40s and bitches as the song goes. LOL

I totally agree with FairyKorpes statements. I hate rap music also, but if your depressed most of your life. you really miss out on the better shit. Plus no one likes a Downer
