Atleast smoking pot gets you high, relaxed, stoned....smoking cigarettes dont even get you buzzed after the first week or so....its pure habit...

yeh i do 2 to 3 packs a day.....ive been trying to quit and my girlfriends promised to quit with me but its not easy...i took up chewing to maybe slow my smoking down but now i just do both.

It's really sad I do smoke but didn't start till I was 28. My husband of 8 years left me and I started smoking. he waited till we had four kids before he left me. nice hun!!!

Oh no...i ment to say i don't, due to the effects. But i don't need the government telling me not to, cause i know. If they choose to when they are of age, nothing i can do. But i certainly don't subject them to it now.

oh i getcha. well its good that YOU know but i see/know of plentyh of people that do it anyway. sad.. really..... i view that as a sort of abuse. so i can see how the gov't would ewant to get in..

I don't smoke, but I know a hell of a lot of people that do. (My parents and cousin that I share a house with firstly..)

In New Zealand they are about to pass a law stating that there is to be no smoking in restaurants and bars, like so its illegal.
There are so many people who disagree with it, but the government does have a fair point.

i would have to agree. i remmber when i was little riding in COACH on the plane and people would be smoking. fucking disgusting.

i dunno what its like in the US, dont recall having to deal with that in a restaurant. but i do believe that its rude as fuck, and its not even just about talking loudly, in this case it is other peoples health. so im all for that...

at least having a separate closed off sction for them fools, in waiters/waitresses that wouldnt mind that smoke..

Only ever smoke when i'm smokin something with a 'special ingredient' in if you know what I mean.

Either that or baking some of 'Grandma's special brownies' does the trick. You get stoned for longer but the effects aren't as strong.
