Monsters VS Aliens.
I'm sure kids would love this. I got a decent few laughs, nice animation, good enough voice acting (Sutherland was pretty cool...obviously he'd be someone military), and a storyline that didn't bore.
I think this one might wear a bit thin after repeated viewings though, I liked it.

The Cook the Thief His Wife & Her Lover (1989)

What a beautifully intricate film. I think it would take multiple viewings to really appreciate all the layers at work here, but this first exposure had me pretty overwhelmed. Incredible piece of cinematic art.

I really liked it despite all the bad criticisms its got.

basic story/premise was fine, shame some of the effects weren't up to scratch

The Final Destination 3D. Not a good movie, obviously, but a lot of fun.

Inglourious Basterds (2009)

Had to catch this one again while it's still in theatres - and I actually think I enjoyed it even more the second time. Hands-down best movie of the summer, so many brilliant moments.

Landa's opening scene has to be one of the greatest sequences in Tarantino's career...if not in recent cinema as a whole. Sheer brilliance.

Fighting...

Don't watch it. I was hoping that there would be some good fighting/martial art scenes. The fighting scenes were so lame unless you are into a lot of rear naked choke holds. Lame plot as well.
