Doc Savage
The Adventures Of Buckeroo Banzai

A great double feature

The VAmpire Lovers

Not the best of Hammer but though it lacked in the presence of Lee and Cushing (ok he was in but only as a footnote) it did make up with boobs and some gore and of course the wonderful Ingrid Pitt as the sexy Carmilla Dykestein.

Going to rewatch Lust and Twins next..

Still a great flick although a bit uneven at times. Brought back some memories anyway. A couple of scenes would have to go down in a list of all time favorites for me.

Oldman and Pitt's scenes are some of my favorites, other than that, not really much I loved.

Meet Dave

There's a reason I despise the self indulgent, over the top pompous acting of Eddie Murphy...I think I just summed it up. This film however, seemed to be the perfect role for him. He could act like an idiot and yet it didn't feel quite as annoying. The story itself was lacking and the script was severely simple, with characters just stating things so bluntly they might as well have turned to the viewer and addressed us directly. I was also disappointed with the acting of Elizabeth Banks, which I'm usually quite satisfied with. This movie was a terrible film, however I can see how it could be entertaining for it's target audience. However, I'm afraid I don't fall for it.
