Confessions of a Shopaholic.

Fun little chick flick that I watched with my mom. It was a guilty-pleasure blast.

3/5.

unless you want to go back to the days of the western where people got shot, bloodlessly held their chest and fell over ... then you might have to deal with realistic violence.

It wasn't the actual explosions, it was that fact that the brain matter had to splatter onto the camera lens. And one time was okay, but I grew tired of that gimmick.

The Haunting of Molly Hartley (2008) --A steaming pile of suck. Even chicks in school uniforms couldn't save this movie.

Thoughts on the last two?

Funny People - Could have been better. Had some genuinely funny moments but second half felt like a bit of an overkill. Is it just me, or Sandler doesnt tickle the funny bones anymore?

Inglourious Basterds - Kickass. Amazing how much versatility Tarantino has poured into this one, making it unique and different from the original on which this is based. Eli Roth was a real revelation (he should look to act more). I d say its 2009's #2 so far, behind District 9.

I thought Sandler was really funny, but I grew up with him so there'll always be a place for the guy in my heart.

The Fall (2006). i am sorta wavering on whether i really liked this one or not. Visually arresting and very well done, then near ending just seemed off in its execution, though the very ending was quite powerful. In a sense it almost fell flat just before it ended, which is ironic because that is the plight of the main character. Definitely worth a watch, and when all is said and done, and a little time has passed, i will probably really come to like it. Ashe.

The last movie I saw was the Haunting in Connecticut. It was alright.
