Cilantro, parsley, shallots, or chives


Okay, here's a spicey question: I have heard that too much nutmeg can be dangerous causing hallucinations and death. Seems a little bullshitty to me, but let's ask our resident culinary miestro. Cheeba, is there any truth is this myth?

Chives...People tend to overdo it with the cilantro, and parsely doesn't do anything for me...

As for the nutmeg thing...I don't know about 'dangerous' but I DO know that too much ruins what you're making (at least for me)...I've had pumpkin pie that the nutmeg really stood out...Couldn't eat it...And I LOVE pumpkin pie...
