Brotherhood of Death

Cheesey low budget afair from the 70s pitting black Nam vets against The Klan.

Not as fun as it could have been.

That looks great, I'm gonna track it down. Sounds kinda like The Black Six which I loved.

City of the Living Dead.

Ok so WOW...it's funny how when you watch something or listen to something again you like it a second time around. I am now happy to say I love city of the living dead. There were a few minor things I didn't like. Like were those old people supposed to be emily and John Johns real Parents? I didn't like the fact that the zombies could teleport(if your making the dead rise do it realistically!)

I said oh they looks like they have jello on theirs faceses...but now watching again...it still looks like jello but it still looks pretty gross. The soundtrack oh my god, so simple and so badass, the songs or..I guess they are songs were just amazing like REALLY good, that was prolly my favorite part of the movie. The looks and sound and atmosphere were just classic horror movie fare. I'm so glad I watched it again...and I didn't get the end!

The Virgin Spring / Jungfrukällan (1960)

Only my second Bergman film (after The Seventh Seal) but after watching this I really need to look into more of his work.

Stunning film, absolutely floored me. I was drawn into the film right from the opening frame and couldn't drag myself away from it...the characters were wonderfully portrayed, the cinematography was beautiful...a near perfect film that raises far more moral questions than it is able to answer, and leaves you thinking about God, life, death, forgiveness and revenge long after the final moments.

"The bicycle thief" 6/10

I didn't understand the ending, or the morale of the movie..

Just found it frustrating and sad.
