Yes, and i love that itīs so original. And i like the story. I just donīt get it... :(

AUSTIN316426808 02-19-2005 05:19 AM

watched Tarantula last night and I feel kinda ripped off, on the cover it has Clint Eastwood with top billing over John Agar but he's just a jet pilot/squad leader with a small role. It's cool though the movie was alright.

is there one specific part of the movie that's fucking the whole thing up or is it the whole thing you don't understand?

no he doesn't, at the begining when he kills Teddy he's killing the wrong person but if you remember at the end when Teddy told him that he'd already killed John G. and that he has been using him ever since to track down other criminals. After Teddy tells him that he rushes to write down ''don't believe his lies'', his plate number ect.

What he's doing at that point is turning Teddy into the person he's looking for.

you getting this so far?

**Spoiler**

yeah he caught him but before the events in the movie took place. the guy he kills at the begining is a cop who helped him catch his wife's killer but after he did he used him to catch other criminals. basicly the whole movie is Carrie Ann Moss' charactor and Teddy jerking this guy around to do things for them.

How sad..... So what about the ending? What is he about to do when the movie ends?

newb 02-19-2005 08:41 AM

Soho Square.....well...most of it...I fell asleep...very artsy, kinda plodding, Sundance Movie Festival entry.

At the end when he gets back in the truck what he's doing is writing down stuff to make it look like Teddy is his wife's killer. for example when he took Teddy's picture and wrote ''don't believe his lies'' on it and he wrote down his plate number. So basicly the end was the begining of the events you see take place in the movie and the begining was what happened after those events took place.

SPOILER QUESTION

Yes, but when he has killed Teddy, there is no one left to kill. So what does it end with?

urgeok 02-19-2005 02:53 PM

lying arounds sick in bed all day so i watched a bunch of stuff.

B Monkey - predictable but entertaining Asia Argento is pretty sexy and Rupert Evert is always watchable.

Chronicles Of Riddick .... didnt do much for me .. nice effects though. Pitch Black was better

Hope Springs ... not a great movie but Minnie Driver looked stunning

Josie and the Pussycats - some funny stuff ... clever little film.

I'd probably enjoyed everything more if i wasnt feeling LIKE SHIT !!!!!!!!

newb 02-19-2005 03:06 PM

Just got done watching Magnum Force. I watched the original Walking Tall the other night.......something about those 70's movies.....good stuff.

The last movie I saw in the theater "Constantine" and before that "BoogieMan". Last night I saw "Goodfellas" and "Ichi the killer". I had heard about "Ichi the killer" but had never seen it but it has 20 thumbs up (if I had 20 hands).

ChEEbA 02-19-2005 07:26 PM

Was Constantine any good?

"Spanglish"

This is suposed to be a comedy??

There is 1 funny scene in this movie and that is the love making scene between Adam Sandler and Tea Leoni. THAT made me laugh. The rest of the movie is a BIG pile of crap.

After he kills Teddy there is nothing else, that's why after he kills Teddy he takes a picture to remember it.

AUSTIN316426808 02-20-2005 07:48 PM

Just got home from Constantine and it was pretty good, the special effects are very well done. Keanu Reeves did an alright job so did Rachel Weise and I really liked the story.

Saw the House of Wax preview and it actually looked interesting, also saw a Batman trailer, I think this is going to be the best Batman because they're making it less comic bookish and a little more realistic but then again how serious can you make a movie about a guy dressed like a bat?

Is "Saw" released on video in the states ? ..Havent seen it yet

urgeok 02-21-2005 02:39 AM

finally watched the american version of The Grudge.
thought it was a great horror film .. probably the best american horror film in ages.
Vod - you're mental !!!
I cant see anyone hating this film ... especially a horror fan ..
It had more atmosphere .. creeps, jumps - than any other movie in recent history.

If another director had done it it would have been a botched mess ..but i thought it was a damn fine movie...

i also saw The Girl Next Door which was basically a remake of Risky Business ..

I agree with you on White Chicks, urge. I didn't even watch the whole thing.

Vodstok 02-21-2005 07:19 AM

I was curious, my wife wnted to see it, it was free (we were watching some freind's kids)

Oh god... White Chicks?

"Black people acting liek white poeple is funny"

Eddie Murphy did it back in the early 80's on SNL. it stopped being funny about 20 seconds after that sketch was done.

urgeok 02-21-2005 07:20 AM

the only remotely funny scene was right out of dumb and dumber.

oh - and the big buff jock guy was kind of funny - but its all been done before ...

the worst part was trying to suspend your disbelief long enough to accept that those guys were really girls, and not a couple of space aliens...
