absolutely dreadful, yet somehow slightly entertaining.

I thought it would have been fairly good if they figured out what type of movie they were wanting to make. Slapstick, over-the-top humor or emotional drama? Pick one, but don't try to combine the two because it just does not work.

Der Untergang (Downfall)

Charting the final days of Hitler in his Berlin bunker, this film absolutely blew me away. Told primarily from the viewpoint of his personal secretay, Traudl Junge, it shows a human side of the inner circle of Nazi Germany as the Soviet army closes in on Berlin.
Bruno Ganz gives an immensely powerful performance as Hitler, displaying moments of almost insane delusions, still believing that a counter attack with troops that dont exist will break Soviet lines, to fatherly compassion to the women in his life and a sincere hope for their well being. The supporting cast is excellent playing Hitlers advisors and friends, including important nazis like Himmler & Goebbels, and the well paced story will have you gripped from the start.
This really is a must see.

That season was pretty mean. The 5th DVD set has been my favorite so far... I think? Is that the one where that dog keeps raping Karl? :D

Season 2 is the funniest IMO. Season 5 is actually the worst (in everyone who lives here's opinion) :( But yes, that's the one with the dog raping Carl (Hand Banana)

Yeh? I loved how crazy it was. Have you seen Friskydingo? Started watching it awhile back and thought it was great.
