Yeah, that was wild! I had no idea he was in it until I saw him there, it was a pleasant surprise.

Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior. Great story with incredible action scenes.

Blood Simple (1984). Suspenseful murder-gone-wrong and poor communication leads to incorrect assumptions flick by the Coen Brothers, their first i think. Ashe.

Indeed. I just wrote a presentation on that film.
I'm taking a Film Authors class which concentrates on the "auterism" of the careers of Howard Hawks and The Coen Brothers. I must say that after all they've done, Blood Simple remains one of my favorites in their body of work.

Pretty interesting (and only) take on fantasy by Fulci. The plot is slightly disjointed and the dubbing is a bit outlandish (as usual), but its a enjoyable flick.

I've been meaning to catch Conquest for a while myself, looks pretty sweet.
has anyone seen this by any chance? seems pretty similar.

Doomsday

This film is 28 Days Later meets Mad Max meets Robin Hood. Its really shit, some decent set pieces and FX apart, dont waste you're time.
Cant believe the same man, Neil Marshall, did the brilliant Dog Soldiers and Descent. Not his finest hour.

Stuck - Pretty good, it depended on everybody acting in a pretty unrealistic way but I like that sometimes. A pretty straight forward story without a lot of deviation, just told from beginning to end.

JCVD - Not bad, the backtracking got a little annoying and seemed to drag to movie down and I didn't like the "prayer" scene but all in all I enjoyed it.

Noise (Tim Robbins) - I really liked this one. Thoughtful, amusing, and entertaining throughout the entire thing. I expected a Falling Down type movie but in the end I was pleasantly surprised.

(Lots of housework to do today, another thing sucking my time away but at least I can catch movies during them haha.)

I thought this one was pretty good. I'm surprised you didn't like it, considering your taste seem to be on par with mine.
