The Great Train Robbery, directed by the late Michael Crichton, from 1979. Great acting from Connery, Sutherland, and Down... but a bit slow at over two hours long.

Dark Floors

A real stinker.

I don't even want to bother to go into any more detail than that.

Laid to Rest

The gore is great, the kills are fun and Chrome Skull looks fantastic, but unlikable characters and weak dialog drag this film down.

I really wanted to like it, but couldn't.
4/10

thats a shame .. because Hall's lightning bug was dialogue driven and quite good.

Hall showed some of Laid to Rest at the Rue Morgue deal last year - the gore looked pretty cool.

i'm hoping to like this one

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.

A very good film with some nice twists and turns. It isn't too condescending but still delivers the message well.

A mystery thriller with a predictable twist which is at least better than the 2nd part.

Dead Snow
Humourous...pretty generic storyline, nice scenery, "ok" effects, had atmosphere going on pretty well before the bad guys showed up, some alright fight and survival (for a while) scenes, and an Arnie impersonation that made me laugh.
A fun film but not exactly a thing of greatness, if you like things like shoot em up, this is pretty much the zombie equivalent.

Shaun of the Dead. This flick is about as enjoyable as dessert before dinner. Loved it. Ashe.
