Need help ID film

I saw a movie a few years ago about some teens in a cabin attacked by wolves. There is a girl with a crossbow and they escape using a line or something. I looked for it again but can't remember the name, at first I thought it was Wolf Creek, but that was not about wolves :P

Oh, and if you know more horror film with wolves i would love to see them :)

For good werewolf movies check out the Ginger Snaps series. They are all very good.

Yes they are. I actually liked Ginger Snaps: The Beginning the best.

I also like The Breed... even though there are no werewolves in it. I thought it was a pretty fun little film.

Please Help! Looking for an old movie

There is an old horror movie I am looking for but I cannot remember the name of it. What I remember is that a priest kills him self and he opens the gates of hell with his suicide and when any one looks on him they cry blood. I'm not sure how old it is, or if this is enough detail, I watched it as a kid, but want to reaquaint myself with it. Any help would be appreciated.

Another (what film is this) thread

Hi all,

First time poster, long time lurker. Really enjoy the site.

Anyhoo, I saw a movie a year or so ago and am now at the point where I want to purchase it, if only I could remember what the hell it was called.

The clues:
It was an asian film. I believe it contained multiple stories. The one I remember the most, and the most scary was a ghost (and old woman I think) who chases down these teenage girls because she wants to steal their jewelry. There is a fantastic scene involving a stairway and an elevator and I just *have* to see this movie again.

Thank you a ton for any help, as multiple Google searches with crazy queries have failed me.

missmacabre 04-29-2010 11:06 AM

Found it. It's Japanese Horror Anthology: Legends. The section called She-Bear.

Ruzan 04-30-2010 06:19 AM

Going to hit up amazon and snag this and see if thats it. Thank you a ton missmacabre for taking the time to help me find this.
[edit] Yea, you pretty much rock, this is 100% what I was looking for.

A movie about a "wax killer"?

I'm looking for the title of a movie I saw on TV as a kid (in the late 1970's) I can only recall a few scenes... I think it involved a murderer who made wax figures of his victims (but this part is unclear to me).
What I do remember, is a peculiar scene where a woman is laying on a couch, unconscious. A young man sees her and removes her panties. He then wrote a message like "f*ck me" on a piece of paper and place it next to her (was it on her chest or on a table next to her?).
The movie was in color, and the style was more of the 1970's... So it could not be "A Bucket of Blood".
I hope this rings a bell!
Please let me know!
Thanks.

Possibly A Bucket of Blood

Please help identify this movie

I saw it in my childhood - probably from the 50's or 60's - don't know if Roger Corman was involved, as this movie had a "Poe-esque" aura about it. One scene involved an ugly old woman who was in her deathbed. I think she may have had an expensive piece of jewelry on her person (ring?), and after she passed away, the doctor (or attendants who were in the room) closed her eyes. Someone then looted the piece of jewelry - later on, when someone came back to the room, here eyes were wide open again, but she was still dead. I don't think this was Trilogy of Terror, but something else. Can't recall if Vincent Price was acting in this one. Many thanks in advance to you who might know!

Friends - please help identify this movie.

Not sure if this was a Roger Corman movie or not - possible "Tales of Terror"? I saw it in my childhood - 1960's. One of the parts of this involved a grizzled old woman on her deathbed, with an expensive piece of jewelry on her person (ring?). Eventually she dies (or maybe even is already dead), and the attendants in the room close her eyes. Then, someone removes the jewelry, only hours later to find, that her eyes had opened back up while still in the (death)bed. It scared the crap out of me!

Black Sabbath

Got it. Thanks. "The drop of water" story - now I remember it a little more vividly. There was a fly involved on this woman's finger. I'm sure I saw the American version - the spooky version vs. the Italian (non-supernatural) version. I may not be worthy, but at least it wasn't an obvious Roger Corman movie that featured Vincent Price ;)

Hi

Would You be so kind and help me out with finding the title of the movie shown on the picture below ?

Thanks in advance :)

yuck!!! 05-16-2010 06:15 AM

What movie is this? (90's indy?)

It has driven me crazy a number of times over the years trying to track down the name of this film I saw when I was younger. I am guessing it is from 91-95 and probably indy/not too notable. It starts with someone driving home who almost hits a dark cloaked figure in the road, and comes home to find their teenager murdered on a couch. There are jars of liquid and preserved body parts throughout the film. I think the climax has to do with some sort of Noah's Ark but filled with corpses and taxidermy animals and I think there is a crucified Jesus figure.

Thanks!

Twisted movie from the 70`s

I`ve been trying to find the title of a pretty twisted, (maybe not a horror, but still a disturbing flick) movie i saw a couple of years back. I think the title is something like : mountain of god, gods mountain, golden mountain or something (yes i have googled it many times) .
The movie starts with a crucifiction of some guy, later the protagonist goes to heaven, where god ask him if he wants gold, and if he wants gold he must shit in a glass flask. He does, and gold he gets =D
Didnt see the movie trough and its some years back so i may have gotten something wrong. I do belive the name of the director was italian or spanish.
As i sayd earlier, the movie is kinda sick/special so i guess that anyone who have seen this film may recognize something here :p

Alejandro Jodorowsky's The Holy Mountain (1973).

One of the most surreal and bizarre films ever made in cinema history.

I forgot the name of a movie...

it's fairly new came out around 04-06? the one where they sign up to go on a reality show in the wilderness and end up being picked off? it's kind a of wrong turn spin off...please i won't to watch this movie again...

zsilvia 05-23-2010 04:55 PM

Help me figure out this movie....

A close friend of mine, who is not easily scared, recently watched a movie that he claims was so scary that he said "i am doing you a favor by not telling you the name." He knows I am up for the challenge, which is why he wont tell me. I NEED to find out the name of this movie.

Here is everything I was able to peel off him:

It came out within the past 10 years
It is not a major hollywood movie
It deals with paranormal type stuff
Follows a "based on a true story" format
It is not gory and kind of low budget
Deals with situations where the odds are so against the characters that there is no hope and no possible route for escape.
It is probably Japanese or American.
It might be "found footage"

I thought it might be "Paranormal Entity" but it is not.

I wish I had more to go on, this is not going to get very far...

I guess we can start with what movies scared the hell out of you that fit this criteria.

endo 05-23-2010 05:04 PM

Could be Paranormal Activity, I guess. I didn't find it very scary, but your friend may have.

Doesn't fit the 10 year bracket (came out in '98), but otherwise sounds like it could be The Last Broadcast, perhaps?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0122143/

[REC] would be another outside possibility...doesn't fit perfectly though.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1038988/

Honestly though, your description fits hundreds of movies...any more info?

PS - This will likely get merged with the Sticky in this forum once there's a mod around. Just a heads up so you can find it.

I enjoyed the original Wrong Turn but keep forgetting to check out the sequel.

It's got Rollins in it so I've gotta check it out :D

He's the best part. That movie blows...except for Rollins. Feast wasn't great and Henry added some to that film, but in this one, Rollins is the only reason to watch.
