Smackdown vs Raw 2008

It's really hard to get the hang of but once you do it can be really fun.

My friends have been saying that. I might rent it this weekend.

Time Shift

Not as fun as I thought it would be, but still enjoyable.I like stopping time then stealing weapons that can be really fun just to watch the reaction of the guy afterwards.

Freak 12-04-2007 09:12 AM

Spiderman Friend or Foe

Very cheesy graphics but fun to play.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance

One of the best comic based games I've played. Many different playable character's and lots of gameplay time.

Yeah, I wanna grab that one...if only for the 2P co-op.

If you haven't already, check out the 2 XMEN - LEGENDS games, they are exactly the same thing, well, set in the events/characters of the x-men universe. They're very good.

So...I'll be playing some folklore, and downloading some PSN stuff soon...and messing around with the wii too.

Anyone here played Mario Galaxy yet? Apparently it's a hell of a fun game.

I played a bit of Mario Galaxy while visiting the rents' and it was a blast. When SSBM comes out I'm buying a Wii and then a while after that (provided a couple more exclusives hit) a PS3.

I played the Friend or Foe demo and it was pretty fun but almost felt like it should have been an XBox Live Arcade or PSN game. Didn't feel like it was worth a $60.00 purchase.

Just bought "Kane and lych - dead men" and "Uncharted - Drakes fortune".

So that's what i'll be doing the rest of the month.

Damn, it's addictive.

Don't I know it....I just started playing the first one recently, and I had ZERO interest in that game until it got here. Now I can't seem to stop playing it. :(

Also playing a few others off and on: Bloodrayne, Hitman 2 and Silent Hill 2.

Good looking game, but I hate that over the shoulder shit...perhaps if the motion sensetivity worked for the aiming...

I haven't played it much yet, but so far the only thing that works for it is the dialogue/humor.

It's a Tomb Raider rip-off, the graphic really isn't that great considering it's a PS3 game, and the way the hero moves almost brings tears to my eyes.... YIKES!!! :(

Which can really fuck a game up, IMO.
I preferred the control system of that Indiana Jones game, a while back now.
That's saying a lot about this one.

I liked the tomb raider controls. That was pretty easy and looked good. And the auto aim worked well. It doesn't in Uncharted even though there's about 80% more enemies than in tomb raider. It doesn't even have a auto aim function, which i find weird and annoying.

But so far, the best control system i've seen are in the Prince of persia/Assasins creed games. They're pretty much perfect when it comes to movements.

The Eternal City

A texted based Role-Playing game called a MUD.

It is fun and addicting. Set in the Roman era.

Drakes Fortune & COD 4 online.

Got a copy of the ps2 port of "syphon filter: dark mirror" given to me at work...not all that impressive as a ps2 game, but it would've been GREAT on the psp. Decent title, even though I'm not into stealth stuff. By all accounts better than omega strain from what I've heard....might play more sometime.

Geddy 12-15-2007 01:35 PM

Super Mario Galaxy.
Infected.
Twisted Metal Head On.

Phalanx 12-16-2007 02:21 AM

Infected...is that the PSP game? I've been looking into getting that...being third party, it's not one they'll throw at me for free at work, but it looks cool. So, worth a play through?

I've been playing...resistance: f.o.m. First time playthrough. Pretty good game. Intense. Reminds me of the kind've fps goodness that HL had goin' on.
Other than that, checking out some other PSN stuff, demos and hd games.

Oh, and I've reconsidered UNCHARTED. I made it through the demo, it's just that...my approach in games is normally a bit different...I think it's good enough to check out.

STILL playing gta:sa on PS2, haven't been on it for a while though.

Checked out the timeshift demo, looked good, but not what I was expecting really, I'll save this one for a bargain bin purchase.

Geddy 12-16-2007 05:26 AM

I really don't like Infected, a zombie game on the psp could be so cool, but this one failed in my opinion.

Heh, I thought I was the only one who played MUDs. I still love logging into Ancient Anguish for a few minutes.

Freak 12-17-2007 10:26 PM

The Simpsons game and Guitar Hero 3.

I'm hoping to get my hands on Rock Band real soon.

Phalanx 12-18-2007 05:53 PM

Yeah, what I've seen of Rock Band at work is pretty coo, any GH/singstar fans will love it.

Still playing through R:FOM...probably the last person yet to play through it...intense, with an "ok" storyline. I can see someone throwing a movie together eventually.

ManchestrMorgue 12-18-2007 10:33 PM

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on the PC.

Picked it up today, played the first few single player missions. Looks really promising. Can't wait to get into the multiplayer..

Jacob Singer 12-19-2007 01:24 AM

Warriors Orochi....killin' machine baby!!!!

Vodstok 12-19-2007 08:45 AM

Bioshock (still....)
and FEAR

I have crysis installed, but wont touch it until i finish bioshock. I dont want to lessen my awe of bioshock by playing PC Gamer's highest rated game EVER before i finish it.

Yeah that is a problem. Since I got Crysis I pretty much didn't touch any other game for a few weeks. Had to buy Call of Duty 4 to break that cycle. :)

GorePhobia 12-20-2007 12:42 PM

MLB 2K7 on PS2

The Mothman 12-22-2007 07:13 PM

been using this Gametap program.
downloaded the full versions of
Hitman: Codename 47
Second Sight
Rogue Trooper
Blood Omen II
for free.

then ordered and downloaded Tomb Raider Chronicles from Direct 2 Drive.

The Mothman 12-23-2007 09:52 PM

Jaws: Unleashed
Bloodrayne

both free from gametap.

VampiricClown 12-26-2007 05:51 PM

Marvel Ultimate Alliance

The Mothman 12-27-2007 05:54 PM

Saint Row.
exact same thing as GTA, but i love it. ive been in a huge gang war now for about 20 mins.

Angra 12-28-2007 09:32 AM

Oblivion with expansions for PS3.

newb 01-02-2008 09:12 AM

Got "Call of Duty 4" & "The Orange Box" for christmas.....playing both. COD's visuals are beautiful but Half Life has got to be the most immersive game ever.

VampiricClown 01-02-2008 06:46 PM

Gears Of War

So far, really good and extremely intense. Although, as many of you will not agree, I still found Halo 3 to be more fun. It had humor and as an offline multiplayer, the co-op is better.

VampiricClown 01-08-2008 09:20 AM

Condemned: Criminal Origins

All I can say while playing this, is wow. This is a really good game. Sega just refuses to let go.

Jacob Singer 01-08-2008 09:47 AM

Guitar Hero III

Freak 01-10-2008 12:32 AM
