I thought Blair Witch 2 was creepy and well done. As fortunato mentioned, it's also fun to hunt for the extras on the DVD.

I know I'm fighting an uphill battle here, but I feel like this movie unfairly gets the shaft. Blair Witch was loved by the hardcore fans, but hated by the masses. "Where's the witch?" they cried. "I want my money back!"

Blair Witch 2 gave them exactly what they wanted: effects in their face. Gothic chick eats an owl, hot red head dances mysteriously naked. The movie had the good mysterious sensibility of Session 9. Does everyone hate it because it carries the Blair Witch tag? I personally think if it would have just been called book of shadows, hardcore fans would have loved it more. Fuck the name. Just like Hellraiser 6, it was a good movie brought down by the expectations of its namesake.

SAVE BLAIR WITCH 2, SAYS I! It's an underrated gem in my eyes.

I didn't like either Blair Witch but Jigsaw was horrible.
