Hmmm...quality Vs quantity?
Browning directed the greatest horror film ever made, but Raimi 2 films that made the list, as well as some of my favourite action movies. No contest really, Dracula trumps all. Tod Browning |

GodDAMN, this is hard.
Actually, I refuse to vote. I can't do that to myself. Oh, fine, I will. Tod Browning, but only by a hair. |
Raimi. What the hell.....I'll sacrifice a little common sense for the guy because I like him....although Browning is awesome.....
Somebody has to stand up for poor ole Sam! |
Sam Raimi
I have more fun with his stuff and am able to spend more time with it; both horror and non. He's a director who makes both films for fans as well as the masses and also combines the two on occasion. Tod Browning was a pioneer no doubt, but I give Sam the nod. |

Browning leads Raimi in a tight one...
5-4 Need more votes.... (And if the 66 Dracula was simply an abridged version of the 33 Darcula, then it was still directed by Browning and simpy re-edited by someone new. Go check out imdb if you want, but he gets the director credit for it.) |
