Requiem For a Dream. i guess i thought it was some Shakespearian drama (or maybe it was). Not sure how i missed this gem. Beautiful flick. Great score (string quartet was amazing), amazing camera-work, and believable acting. It was grueling to experience the downward spiral. Now that is what i call a disturbing movie, though it was a bit much after just having seen Feed. ***spoiler alert*** The only thing that bothered me was the arrest of Tyrone and Harry on the way to Florida. i fathom that Tyrone was arrested cuz he left NY while on parole or something from his prior arrest, but Harry was arrested for no actual reason, unless having an infected tract infection is against the law. Maybe i missed something. Marion's ultimate downfall, on the other hand, was all too believable and gut-wrenching to watch. Ashe.

I think the acting really had a lot to do with it in this one, I liked some of Edward's acting and that's it. That Bella girl kept moving her mouth in unnatural ways, I don't know if she was trying to look nervous or awkward but it didn't work. I may go through the first book if I can get past the writing and embrace the story. The movie wasn't bad in IMO, but like you said, it just didn't have anything memorable.

Punisher: Warzone

A bloody, violent, bullet ridden flick... I liked it. This is a movie about The Punisher killing criminals and anybody looking for more will be seriously disappointed.

A depressing, not particularly funny film about the Edinburgh Fringe
