we watche spirited away and Totoro over and over again .. my (and my sons) personal favorites.

I was lucky enough to see Spirited Away on the big screen when it came out (entirely by accident - we had intended to see something else that was sold out)

Simply awesome modern day geeky, mind bending, sci-fi/quantum physics flick.

Time travel flicks usually do not ring true for me, but this one was well thought out. Primer had some philosophical undertones (to me at least) and was a nice study of human nature. i mean, one guy drugs his double and hides him in the attic, and the other guy gasses his double and stuffs him in a closet. Ultimately, this was a great study on the human longing for ultimate power. Great flick, but it probably needs to be viewed a few times to really get a better idea of what was going on. Ashe.

Pretty graphic but solid movie.

Just watched Django (1966) last night......I'm still stunned, possibly the
coolest movie I have ever seen. I wrote up a bit of a review in the "Best
Western" section. Definitely a western for the horror lover.

That was just to sappy, I didn't like it, shit storry, losely tied together at the end.

This is a pretty good black comedy, it didn't get much notice when it came out, well worth seeing if you haven't.

Maniac Cop 2....better than the first one

starting to watch the After Dark Movies...."From Within" last night...not a bad watch...kinda cool idea but it did tend to drag just a wee bit but the little twist at the end was nice.

Rise of the Footsoldier

A bit slow in parts, sometimes a tad over-stylized, but all in all I liked it. Anybody looking for a brutal British gang flick should check this one out.

Mulholland Drive.

All I can say at this point is that it was good. Typical Lynch soundtrack is what made it for me. I will give a more in depth review once I watch it a few more times, because it was a bit too much for me to grasp all at once. Surrealism is great when you are aware and awake, but so late at night it turned out to be a bad idea.
