First time viewing and glad I haven't seen the "remake" yet.

Dont waste your time, Ive got alot of time for Nick Cage but the original is so much better. Dont get me wrong, the remake isnt awful but its nowhere near the quality of the original.

Night Watch followed by Sunshine. Nice Saturday combo. Night Watch had a grim, chunky, comic book feel to it. Very nice. Sunshine had an intense feel to it, though i wished that it was philosophically darker in flavor. Still liked it.

Nineteen Eighty Four (1984) - 8/10.

Good adaptation of the novel, you'd probably get a lot more out of it if you read the novel beforehand.

Naked Lunch (1991) - 9/10.

Very cool adaptation of Burrough's novel, had a very similar atmosphere to the novel.

The House Bunny

Utterly horrendous. I'll admit that I may have laughed once or twice at the sheer stupidity of it...but on the whole, it was just lowest common denominator, predictable, formulaic, moralistic bullshit. Hated every second of it.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2008)

I never get tired of this...easily one of my all-time favourites.

My Winnipeg

Now that I've seen this and Brand Upon the Brain, I must say - I really, really like Guy Maddin's style. I think I enjoyed Brand Upon the Brain slightly more, but this was still a breathtaking film.

Rocky Balboa 4.5/5

Nice ending to a superb franchise.
Liked the depth they went to, instead of turning it into an all out fighting film.

Shine a light

I'm stoping it now.

They just had christina Agulira perform with them.... why not have a true female rock singer such as Patty Smith or P.J Harvey... Fucking atrocious....

And the crowd all look like they were born 10 years after the Stones first played a show, it's so fraudulent and pathetic...

To staged to warrant any credit...
