Just caught the last 1 1/2 hrs of Close Encounters of the Third Kind

Opera (1987) - 9/10.

My new favourite Argento film, and also one of my favourite horror flicks. Great soundtrack.

Outlander. Not a bad flick - some good creature effects ... hey - it's vikings VS aliens ... of course i'm gonna like it.


(would have been more effective had it not been made quite so soon after Beowulf.)

Coraline (2009)

Wow! What a blast!
Everyone go check this one out as soon as you can.
And if you can afford to read the book first (it's not that long), do it!

I can see this being on my favorites list for 2009.

Last night I saw Hostel for the first time. 7/10.

The animation was beautiful and the story really moved along at the perfect pace. I felt like there could have been more answers given to the viewer but it wasn't enough to hurt the film at all. The 3D was pretty damn cool too.

Sex Drive.
Fairly funny.

It was not very good, but it was o.k, the fact it had Tom Green and Crispin Glover in it, well that's the only reason I watched it.

I want to see Tom Green in a movie he wrote again, that would be funny.
