A lot of money spent on the world, music, voices, etc. Just like all the other big titles that are far from best game ever. Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, and others come to mind. But I haven't played the new GTA yet. It does seem to have some cool hidden horror / sci-fi stuff. I've seen pictures on the Internet showing Bigfoot and Aliens.

To be honest, it's much like gta4, just bigger and better.

But it isn't mindblowingly awsome. The Best game of the year is still "The last of us".

GTA V still.
At about 35% mission completion now.

Went to flying school...control of the flying vehicles was not easily grasped, as I had expected from this franchise.
I do not like games where you have to fly things.

The storyline/backstory has become a little more complex as it goes along.

As I play through, I'm seeing some things that I like, improvements if you will.

Shitload of random events...

I mean, I'm not sure what to say "It's GTA".

Probably stands at about a reconsidered 7.2 with me at this stage.

I finished the GTA V main storyline on Wednesday at midnight. I thought it was amazing; definitely the best in the series. In my opinion, it blew GTA IV out of the water. I found the missions to be some of the most interesting in the series (I loved the scores ones especially) and there was excellent character development. As for the world, it was absolutely huge and really felt like a real metropolis. The nature aspect was nearly as stunning (I loved how they added some wildlife). Additionally, the realism was incredible. I was like four or five days into the game and I still could not get over the realism. It may not be the best video game ever, but it is definitely in my top ten of all-time and I would put it as the best of the year (even over The Last of Us). Thus, a 10/10.

The Battlefield 4 open beta and Terraria since it's been newly patched.

I've got the original NES version... is it still worth playing?

ME TOO.

I absolutely adored that game! I was pretty damn excited when I heard about the remastered version (haven't picked it up yet, though).

I hear they're going to have a physical release this holiday season so I'll probably pick it up then.
