Both yes and no.

The Original wasn't a musical.

"Barry Gordy's The Last Dragon"

Hysterically funny mid '80's martial arts/blaxploitation action film. Bad music and terrible fight scenes. The best thing about was the late Julius Carrey as the villain "Sho-Nuff"

"Master Of The Flying Guillotine"

One of the great Martial arts movie.

Eagle Eye- 6.5/10

Not bad. Good action for what it was.

Poltergeist was on TCM the other night, so I watched it. Still one of the best from the 70s. Some of the humor seemed out of place to me, this time, however.

Dude, really? I hate that film- actually, I saw a documentary where Scorsese practically disowned it.

I mean, everything else that man touches turns to gold, but...

Really? I had no idea Scorsese didn't like the flick. Personally I enjoyed it a lot.

Well it's no crime- I was just surprised!
I assume you're working your way through that MGM set- have you watched The Last Waltz yet? Awesome flick. And I assume you've already seen Raging Bull?

Surprisingly charming and absolutely adorable. The kid was absolutely awwwwww-worthy and I don't care what you say about Sandler; he can be charming when he wants to be. More cutsie than your typical Sandler comedy. I thoroughly enjoyed it - Good sweet Sunday afternoon flick.

3.5/5

Fantastic little low-budget indie ghost flick. One of the 2006 After Dark Horrorfest bunch, this film had some decent little scares and created a believable atmosphere. It's on Comcast On Demand this month - It's a decent flick if you're looking for a simple horror movie to keep you occupied.

Actually - Come to think of it, I'm pretty impressed with 2006's Horrorfest as a whole. Not perfect movies, but definitely, at a minimum, good.

3/5

- Norbit ... terrible movie but my kid laughed his ass off - which made me laugh in turn

- Streets of Fire ... old favorite of mine - finally revisited in hi-def .. looked great.
