Baise-moi- Ever wonder what a porn, given an extra 5000$ in budget in order make a real movie would look like? Me neither... but this would be it. Mediocre picture quality, acting, effects...not much good to say about it except...nice try? 3.5/10

Anthropophagus-Average horror flick. Really good atmosphere as it takes place in a deserted European Island. I was expecting a little more gore but I guess there is enough to keep the average viewer queasy. The acting was pretty bad as you never really feel like the characters were actually scared whatsoever. 5.5/10.

Blood Feast: OK. I was impressed with the effects of the gore scenes, considering this movie was made in 1963. The main villain should have been scarier IMO.I give it a 5/10.

Yeah they banned that here, but yknow...the internet...I agree, this was just shit.

DEATH RACE - Haven't seen the original (DR2000) so I don't know how this stacks up, but this one was "ok", some good fun over a ridiculous plot. I'd probably buy it if I saw it doubled with the original.

I might go check out Death Race if there's nothing better to do. I hardly ever go to the movies these days.

Really enjoyed this one. Some creepy moments and Bill Paxton was good value as usual.

Pretty good entertainer. Obviously the CGI again emerged as the real hero, but Del Toro's eye for masterful cinematography and artwork makes this a real winner. Technically, 5 stars.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I felt. He's great with the fantastical, for sure.
I must check out those special features, though.

I just finished watching An american crime. I thought it was very tamed compared to the girl next door . Im not sure why you found this to be more disturbing than TGND? I guess it's different strokes 4 different folks.. Maybe the truthfull structure of An american crime , compared to the loosley based, TGND, was why you thought this?

Anyways, I give An american crime 7/10

good movie, but very sad case :(
