I overlooked many spelling mistakes in the answers and awarded full points. For example, Newb sent in Ganta (2010) instead of Gantz (2010), answer was obvious, points given. Some others sent in H-Men (1958) instead of The H-Man (1958) but I awarded them points as well. Let's see how you all fared in this Challenge... UPDATE FROM THE ZONE
SIX hunters have done their hunting so far, and that is a total of ONE HUNDRED THIRTY FIVE shots and TWO blasts from the Plasma Cannons!! Holy smokin' hell! Some bloodbath, this. :eek: TWO hunters remain silent. There's still 16 hours left to the deadline. |

RESULTS OF THE TWELFTH HUNTING ZONE OUTING The gates of the Hunting Zone are opened by the BR guards to let all contestants back into the BR compound. For a long time, nobody enters. The eerie silence of the Zone becomes a mute witness of the carnage from earlier in the day. Then slowly, one by one, they come in...one, two, three, four, five, six... SIX!!! Which means, and confirmed by the BR scanners - NO LESS THAN THREE DEAD BODIES INSIDE THE ZONE!!! Let's crank up the BR camera recordings, from earlier... REALDEALBLUES watched the birds fly off in the distance, and looked back at the ground in front of him through the bushes, straight at the big rock behind which IMMORTALSLASHER was hiding, nervously looking around. He pulled out his Assault Rifle and squeezed the trigger in one swift action! BLAM! BLAM!! BLAM!!! BLAM!!!! BLAM!!!!!... (The hail of bullets pierced through Immortal's body like knives carving through butter, and immediate sprays of blood made him cough out loud as the bullets thudded again and again, driving him backwards on the rock he was leaning on. Fortunately, Immortal had a huge bunch of HPs to dig in and when Realdeal's shooting stopped, his weak hands patched himself and left him with 76 HPs in his bag.) REALDEALBLUES dropped his empty Assault Rifle and walked all the way into the BIG Section to hide, where he was safe. (Although, the sound of his gunfire had attracted some other kind of attention...) FREDDYMYERS waited till the sound of the distant gunfire ceased, then hurriedly moved towards the source of those sounds. He soon came upon ImmortalSlasher nursing his wounds, took one long look at him, and moved ahead. His target was in the distance, rapidly moving through the foliage. He quickened his steps and noticed REALDEALBLUES not too far off in the distance. He stopped, pulled out his Plasma Cannon, aimed, and fired!! SHRACKT!! (Realdealblues went flying, the huge blast of the cannon throwing him forward against a huge tree. A smoking hot hole was left on his back, which painfully spurted out thick bursts of blood. He pulled out his HPs to patch himself up rapidly, and after the ordeal was done, he was left with 69 HPs.) FREDDYMYERS then waltzed into the SMALL Section, confident and happy. THE WEREWOLF snarled at him and came running through the trees, and FreddyMyers gulped as he raised his STALKER SHIELD! The Werewolf swiped against the Shield 3 times, before letting out a huge blood-curdling howl and swiftly disappeared into the distance. FreddyMyers let out a big sigh of relief. STRAKER clutched his Desert Eagle tightly in anticipation. Someone was approaching him from the front! He waited till the person entered his line of vision, lifted his gun to aim and fired, straight at NEWB FIVE TIMES!!! BLAM! BLAM!! BLAM!!! BLAM!!!! BLAM!!!!! (Newb never knew what hit him. The bullets thudded into him and he reeled backwards, trying to control himself. He fell heavily, breathing hard. He tried to aim at his attacker, but Straker had not waited but quickly moved ahead. Newb pulled out his HPs and after patching himself, was left with 19 HPs.) Straker had spotted a new target on the right, some distance off. NIGHTMARE OF DEATH was looking all around, apparently a bit dazed and confused about what to do and where to start. Straker aimed at her, and shot her FIVE TIMES!!! BLAM! BLAM!! BLAM!!! BLAM!!!! BLAM!!!!! (Nightmare whirled suddenly, but wasn't fast enough to dodge the bullets which pounded into her body. She fell down and grabbed at her HP bag. 5 patches later, she was breathing again, although she now had 45 HPs left with her.) Straker had swiftly moved forward, hearing the sounds of an Assault Rifle in the distance. Sure enough, he came across a clearing where REALDEALBLUES was patching himself after being attacked by FreddyMyers. Straker gave him some extra wounds to patch, as he shot him FIVE TIMES!!! BLAM! BLAM!! BLAM!!! BLAM!!!! BLAM!!!!! (Realdealblues had just finished applying HPs to himself as Straker's bullets rained on him. 5 new holes sprayed fresh blood out and the HPs came out again to do their duty. He was now left with 64 HPs.) STRAKER holstered his Desert Eagle there, then wandered into the MEDIUM Section, where he remained safe. ZERO swung through the trees, looking around. He saw GOREPHOBIA in the distance and went towards him, holding something in his hand. As soon as he came across Gorephobia, he aimed directly at his head and THREW! The pooh splotched Gorephobia straight on his face, and Gorephobia sputtered angrily towards the trees. But Zero had disappeared by then. Zero had seen him. He licked his red, simian lips as he swung silently from the trees at his quarry. Suddenly stopping, perched at the highest branch of a huge tree, Zero looked down at him. He was cursing to himself, swearing revenge at someone who had shot him. Zero grinned, aimed, and started firing all his TWENTY shots at NEWB!!!! BLAM! BLAM!! BLAM!!! BLAM!!!! BLAM!!!!!... (Newb was scanning all directions looking for Straker. When the bullets started raining from above, he didn't expect them. They thudded repeatedly into his body and threw him back against the ground, and still they did not relent till they riddled his entire body like cheese!! His remaining 19 HPs came out to do their duty, and by the time they patched him up, Newb was left Wounded.) ZERO let out a loud simian yell of joyous victory, before moving out of those trees and swung into the SMALL Section, where THE WEREWOLF glared angrily at him! The monkey-man shrunk in sudden surprise and fear, as the Werewolf charged down on him and swiped it's paws all over his body!! Zero bled torrents, and bled hard. 40 of his HPs stock came out to patch him, and to keep him alive. NEWB was WOUNDED, and he was angry. He was not used to people sneaking up to him, and not one but TWO people had done that already. He was fuming when GOREPHOBIA stumbled into his sights, cleaning the pooh off his face. Newb, blinded with rage, pulled out his Assault Rifle and started firing blindly at him!!!!! BLAM! BLAM!! BLAM!!! BLAM!!!! BLAM!!!!!... (Gorephobia, half-blinded by Zero's pooh, heard the click of the trigger but couldn't do anything about the rapid-fire shots which came thundering through the air at him. They pounded mercilessly into several parts of his body like missiles, and he went flying back into the bushes. 30 HP patches later, he was able to breathe again, but had only 7 left with him.) Newb threw the now-empty Assault Rifle away, and got up with his Desert Eagle. He limped forward slowly and spent a long time wandering through the Zone, looking for his tormentor. At last, he spotted STRAKER in the distance and ran forward to greet him with his gun!!!!! BLAM! BLAM!! BLAM!!! BLAM!!!! BLAM!!!!!... (Straker was half-expecting this counter-attack, but didn't expect it at the time Newb arrived. The bullets thudded repeatedly into his body, drilling new holes all over it. By the time the Desert Eagle emptied all it's contents, Straker was ridden with several shredded holes all over. 20 HPs patched him up, and Straker was left with 22 HPs.) NEWB let out a loud smacking whoop of satisfaction, and travelled all the way to the BIG section where he stayed safe. IMMORTALSLASHER waited till the sounds died down and the smoke cleared from in front of him. He was patched from head to toe, and looked like Marv from Sin City. He sneaked silently forward, his ears open and alert for any sounds. A small rustling sound started, and ImmortalSlasher followed it. It was the sound of REALDEALBLUES dragging his injured body through the dry leaves on the ground. ImmortalSlasher came out, and growled savagely at RealDealBlues. "Payback time." The muttered words pleased ImmortalSlasher no end. Out came his Assault Rifle!!!!!! BLAM! BLAM!! BLAM!!! BLAM!!!! BLAM!!!!!... (30 shots like lightning bolts blasted across Realdealblues's body from head to toe. If he hadn't saved so many HPs till then he would have been long dead. As it is, his HPs immediately did their duty in patching him up, although by this time he was severely weakened by the repeated attacks on him. 34 HPs were left with him by the time this fresh attack was over.) IMMORTALSLASHER then went into the SMALL section, where he was greeted by THE WEREWOLF! He was terrified and tried to run back, but the Werewolf grabbed him from behind and swiped it's nails all over his body. The Slasher had got slashed, and how! 40 HPs came out to breathe life back into ImmortalSlasher's body, and he was left with 36 HPs. But, most importantly, he was alive. WEAPON X studied the footprints on the ground intently. He was tracking particular enemies, and he knew whose prints these were. He followed them for a short distance before he came across a heaving, panting body leaned on a tree. Weapon X gritted his teeth and fired his Plasma Cannon straight at REALDEALBLUES!!!!!!! SHRACKT!!!!! (The exploding lightning bolt hit Realdealblues hard. His body was blasted to bits as small chunks of flesh flew off his chest and legs and blood blackened his wounds. HPs started their work of patching, but more was to come.) Weapon X didn't stop there. He pulled out his Desert Eagle and started firing at Realdealblues even before he had started patching. BLAM! BLAM!! BLAM!!! BLAM!!!! BLAM!!!!!... The bullets bore through Realdealblues's body, and the 15th bullet went right through his head!!!!!!! REALDEALBLUES IS DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!! (Continued...) |
Weapon X retracted his gun back, leaving the swirling, smoking hole in Realdealblues's forehead as his eyes rolled back into his head and his soul left the mortal world.
Weapon X moved ahead, looking around him for another target he had already set in his mind. And soon, he found him hiding inside the bushes, nursing the wounds which Newb had given him. Weapon X pulled his Desert Eagle out, and pounded the remaining FIVE bullets into GOREPHOBIA!!!!!!! To add to it, Weapon X also shot him with his special DOUBLE SHOT!! (Gorephobia, already weakened badly by the severe attack from Newb, couldn't do anything but lie helplessly as the bullets thudded into his body. He bled profusely as all his remaining HPs did their job. He was still breathing, but had run out of HPs by then.) WEAPON X then strode directly into the SMALL Section, where THE WEREWOLF was waiting! Weapon X did his best to dodge the huge beast, but The Werewolf was too quick. It mercilessly craved it's nail marks all over his body and ran away, and Weapon X was left tending to his near-fatal wounds with his HPs. 40 of them healed him and breathed new life into his worsted body, and he was left with 28 HPs. NIGHTMARE OF DEATH calmly waited till everyone else was done with their shootings. She had a few patches on her from the sudden attack by Straker, but that had not dampened her enthusiasm or her plans for even a small bit. She licked her lips and ticked off her specific targets in her mind, before moving forward into the deeper foliage parts of the Zone. She first came across NEWB, wounded and propped up against a big yew tree. She pulled her Desert Eagle out and started shooting FIVE times at him, the FIFTH bullet thundering through Newb's heart!!!!!!!! (Newb, already WOUNDED and sore from his attacks, had no strength nor will to pull out of his final assault on his senses. When the final bullet punctured his heart and thundered out, he welcomed the darkness which came soon after and sunk slowly into it.) NEWB IS DEAD!!!!!!!!! Nightmare didn't stop to watch Newb die. She knew she had nailed him with the last bullet, so moved ahead to her next specified-in-mind target. Soon, she spotted him inside the bushes, big breaths breaking the blood spurts of his body. Nightmare aimed, and squeezed the trigger of her Desert Eagle FIVE TIMES again, straight at GOREPHOBIA!!!!!!!! (Gorephobia had run out of HPs after surviving the intense attack from Weapon X. Nightmare's shots blasted his body apart, and the final two bullets punctured his lung and liver. His body wracked, spasmodically, and internal bleeding made his brain stop working. But death came a long time later, and it was painful and slow.) GOREPHOBIA IS DEAD!!!!!!!!! Nightmare again didn't stop, leaving Gorephobia to his fatal fate. She moved silently ahead, and stalked a shadow till the shadow stopped some yards ahead of her. She closed in, aimed her Assault Rifle, and fired exactly FIVE TIMES at FREDDYMYERS!!!!!!!! (FreddyMyers was taken by absolute surprise. The bullets punched holes in his body but thankfully he had enough HPs to survive. 5 of them patched him up, and he was left with 4.) Nightmare moved ahead, not waiting to check on the results of her attack on FreddyMyers. She moved into a dry, barren area of the Zone and saw someone just ahead of her, trying to sneak into a small cave between the rocks. She went ahead, pulled up her Assault Rifle, and started firing directly at STRAKER FIVE TIMES!!!!!!!! (Straker was trying his best to hide, but was unaware of this fresh attack from behind. Nevertheless, the HPs came out faithfully yet again to patch him up, and he was left with 17 of them when Nightmare had disappeared from the scene.) NIGHTMARE OF DEATH, apparently satisfied with her hunting, made a beeline for the MEDIUM section, where she remained safe. And so, the Second HDC Battle Royale IV BLOODBATH came to an end.
