True but some of them we could've lived without, agreed?

Maybe I have a selective memory. It's what keeps me happy.

I just love the atmosphere of fear. I think horror films are spiritual in nature. They tell us truths about reality that aren't available in any other medium...except maybe conspiracy theory. David Icke is one of the best horror writers. You should read him.

Lol, yeah. But, to be honest, the first one is Citizen Kane when compared to the sequels. “ Harvest this, motherfucker! “ ring any bells ::sad::

As for worst... There’s not enough room on the internet to list all the garbage I’ve watched. But a lot of them I can either see the effort, or at least laugh at the camp.

SeedPeople, the remake of Psycho, Halloween Resurrection, and Steve Miner’s Day of the Dead are pretty high up there in terms of flicks I just hate.

The Shroud 12-16-2017 04:25 PM

Midnight Kiss
A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge
Halloween H2O
Legend of the Mummy
Evil Dead (remake)

Tommy Jarvis 12-17-2017 12:40 AM

- La Horde
- Jason goes to hell

A few others that I only remember vaguely. And since it's sunday, I can't be bothered to do a lot of googling.)

Serial Slayer

How in the hell that movie ever got released by Lions Gate is beyond me. It had terrible acting, terrible camera work, bad writing and the killer is shown on the cover as some mean looking bald guy when the real killer was some punk ass kid.

LuvablePsycho 04-18-2018 06:13 AM

Orphan
The Unborn
The Possession
Mama
Sharknado
Resident Evil Apocalypse
Every Children of the Corn sequel (the first one was pretty good though)
Phantom of the Opera (the one directed by Joel Schumacher)
The Village
The Taking of Deborah Logan
Dawn of the Dead 2004 remake
Land of the Dead
Diary of the Dead
The remake of The Shining
The first remake of Carrie (god how many times is that movie going to get remade???)
Horrors of Spider Island (also one of my favorite MST3K riffs lol)
Jeepers Creepers 2
Paranormal Entity
Pumpkinhead 2: Blood Wings

Edit: added a few more movies I hate to the list.

I just realized that we could post ANY "worst" movie ever, which I'll need to think on.

But I just saw Truth or Dare with Zach for the podcast, our episode drops this Tuesday, and man.... that was easily the worst horror movie I've seen in years. Effing TERRIBLE.

I think I know what you mean, it's sad that when it comes to the horror genre there are a LOT more bad movies and not enough good ones. Most horror movies actually suck and only a few at a time ever seem to be decent enough for people to not quickly forget them.
