And I agree - The children's performances were absolutely incredible. Actually - performances were strong all around.

Small room full of people with a projector actually. Oh, and Christopher Denham (writer/director) with a couple of the other people that worked on the film.

That's really cool! Do you mind if I ask - Do you know Denham or know someone who knows him? Does he have any other projects on the horizon? I was pretty impressed with his writing/directing debut.

He said he has some other projects in the works but couldn't talk too much about them. He didn't answer a lot of questions really, not like the Ending the Eternal guys (main actor was cool as hell, check this out, I'll post a link in the recs) or the Jack Brooks crew.

Almost the entire cast was perfect but I'm not really a big Juliette Lewis fan and even in this I couldn't really love her but that downside was erased by DiCaprio's BRILLIANT performance. I honestly cannot wait to see this again, why didn't anybody tell me about it?

For me, it's one of those movies that I don't think about unless someone mentions it. I also loved Depp's performance. Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Lewis either. Couldn't stand her in Cape Fear.
