Like Ferox I found Midnight Meat Train to be predictable and populated with wooden characters.

Catacombs- is that that Fearnet original? Just downright awful.

Spider.

A bleak tale of madness, isolation & secrets directed by David Cronenberg, starring Ralph Feinnes, Miranda Richardson & Gabriel Byrne.

An understated film told with precision & detail. I liked this much better than the histrionics of his more overt horror films. Really shows what a masterful director Cronenberg is.

Yeah..it was my 2nd or 3rd experience with Cronenberg's cinema. Though bit slow but I liked it too. Ralph Finnes was brilliant with the role.

See, a lot of people around here would say that, but I don't find films full of detail like this to be slow at all. I find reality fascinating, and when a movie takes the time to show the details of the working of a mind and the unravelling of a story that's very exciting to me.
