Um...Nick? Norah? Yeah, I think your Juno is showing. Might want to get that looked at guys.

I didn't go into this expecting much, but my girlfriend wanted to see and and I thought it could be kind of cute - it isn't. The leads have zero chemistry, the humor relies pretty much solely on stale, running gags and the plot was just an absolute mess. It's like they had 2-3 different stories to tell and didn't know where to go with any f them...but shot the movie anyway.

Not a good movie in any way. It really, really wants to be Juno, but fails miserably.

well, that's one i can avoid then...

a movie trying to be like another movie that i hated..

but then again - with a bunch of 'wannabe hip girls' running around immitating juno - why wouldnt a film or to do the same thing..

The Spectacular Legacy of the AWA – A good documentary on the rise and fall of the AWA (as well as a primer on the history of modern wrestling). It was funny to see them try to gloss over, or at least downplay, the role Vince McMahon had in dong the AWA in.

Funny Games (remake) ~ never seen the original, but from what I understand its almost identical to the original. I have mixed feelings, I think the performances were good, and I can understand the point the filmmaker is trying to make. And I think most of it worked well, even if it is blatantly manipulative. But then there is one scene, where all of sudden it completely loses me, and there is no emotional impact after that. And that's a shame.

The Lost ~ sometimes surprisingly good, and disturbing.....other times, not so much.

Murder Party ~ really a lot of fun.

Waxwork & Waxwork 2

Lots of fun. The first one was great for trying to be serious and being cheesy. The second one was great for knowing it was cheesy and playing on it.

Bruce Campbells infamous rib-cage scene in the second one is hilarious. It was also fun to see Alexander Godunov again.

I love the first Waxwork, which I thought wasn't trying to be anything but cheesy. :p Must see the second one though.

Last watched - The Devil's Advocate. Such an underrated movie, at least to me.

...even though the plot kind of gets culturally lost in translation.
