Hey,

I'm looking for a horror movie that I only remember the beginning of (it's kind of a blurry memory too).

It starts with people (friends or family, I don' remember) driving a car on a pretty empty road.

Then I remember that they hit something and blood is running down the windshield...

If I'm not thinking about another movie I think I also recall a bloody hand on the car window (the drivers window) .. but I'm not sure. The people in the car get scared, anyway :)

I think I only saw the beginning of the movie because it seemed to suck :P But now I'm obsessed with finding it. Please help? :)

I'll look around for it. He's one of my favorite actors. I'm a big Twin Peaks fan.

if you have cable TV with the "Fearnet" channel, you can watch it now. It might also be on fearnet.com .

Can you please help me with a horror movie title?

I watched this movie long time ago so I don’t remember it very well.
It is about three friends who discover a deserted house in the woods. They decide to spend the night in that house. In that night during a storm with lightnings two of them disappear misteriously. The one remaining(the main character) run away from that house.
Later he come with two friends to investigate that place and they discover that near the house is a cemetery. They dig a grave and they notice that the coffin is empty and they discover an underground tunnel. A storm begins and they need to hide in an abandoned trailer. One of them who is standing on the door and watching the rain is killed by a unknown creature and the other two friends notice that his face was eaten(I remember this scene clearly). They put him in the grave and leave. Then the main character has a bad nightmare with that house where he meet his two dead friends from the beging and the one with the face eaten
After a while they come back to find out what’s happening there. They enter that underground tunnel and discover the one who dig this tunnel : it is an undead creature(some kind of zombie or ghoul) but they lose it. They come back to the house and they discover that each grave has an underground tunnel that lead to a room in that house. But the night is coming and they need to hide. After a while from a hole in the floor the creatures begin to appear: they have big eyes, claws, and large teeth and they are flesheating creatures. One of them is eaten alive. But the other one(main character) survives till morning and he escapes from that house. I don’t remember what happend next in that movie. This movie was probably made in 70’s or 80’s.
I cannot remember the title of this rare horror movie. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!:)

Okay, this is spawned by a conversation we've been having in the Classic Horror forum (yes, people DO post there!), in a thread Roshiq started about Frankenstein.

I mentioned an indie film I saw a few years ago that dealth with the Frankenstein motif. A few have mentioned they would like to track this film down, but I cannot remember the title. I'll attempt to describe what I can remember about the film, but I'm going to sound as clueless as the newbies who logon here with little info to go on.

I saw this between 2-4 years ago on cable. From my recollection it was recent- 1990- present day, but it may be older. I can't remember if I saw it on Fearnet, some other on demand offering, or even on the IFC. It was super low-budget. The entire cast consisted of 4-5 actors.

The plot involved a young doctor who lived in the countryside somewhere with his wife. It may have been Ireland, Canada or somewhere in Europe. Unbeknownst to his wife the doctor is experienting on dead sheep in the barn, attempting to bring them back to life. Eventually, something happens to the family dog and the doctor brings it back to life, which horrifies the wife.

There's a lot of talking in this film, it's slow, and there's some low-budget acting, but I enjoyed this film for its interesting take on the Frankenstein motif, and its DIY production. I've checked around on IMDB. IFC and can't find a clue what the name of this film is.

If anyone has seen this film, or might have a clue what it might be, the help would be appreciated.

Not all that rare- Amazon has 32 copies in stock- the cheapest going for one penny.

Rinde 03-01-2010 01:53 AM

The name of this movie?

This is probably more of an scifi-flick than a horror movie, but you might know which it is anyway.

Its from the 90s. About some green aliens who try to invade the earth. The aliens wear human skin outside them selfs, and they bend theirs knees the wrong way. And they can jump really high.

I remember one scene where an alien disguised as a man got into a house and placed a little thing in the house that swallowed everything inside (like a little black hole).

There is one guy who finds out about the aliens in human skin, and he follows one of them and gets inside the alien 'base' where he is exposed and chased around.

Thats about what i remember...

Could be "The Arrival", starring Charlie Sheen.

No worries man - I'm hust pumped that I'm not the only one hat's heard of it, haha.

And like NE said: it's really not that hard to find as long as your not adverse to shopping online. And it's well worth tracking down if you're still into zero-budget, tripped out horror. Love it.

Maybe? I'm pretty sure I caught this one a few years back, fairly interesting from what I recall.

neverending 03-01-2010 07:53 PM

Cactus, that just may be it. It sounds very very close. The cast is larger than I remember, and in some of the IMDB reviews there were some details I didn't remember... but a lot mentioned they saw it on IFC, which is where I think I saw it. I went to Amazon and ordered the DVD, so the mystery may be solved very soon!

Many thanks.

Please help me remember the name of the movie

Ive seen a horror movie about 11 years ago and I would like to find it and watch it again.

Starts with a few teens having fun in the cemetery (or maybe that comes a bit later, not sure) then two guys find a couple of barrels with US ARMY written on them in a basement, with dead folks inside. they open them up, the guys come to life and do the usual zombie stuff. they do manage to kill them and cut them to pieces, but the pieces are still alive so they cremate them. then, rain comes in and somehow the results of the cremation fall over a cemetery and everyone comes to life and starts looking for brains to eat. Dunno what happens next, I was too young back then :)

Please help me remember the name of the movie. Thanks

Help finding title of this movie

I thought this movie was john carpenter, but filmography just doesn't seem to to match this movie I saw quite a few years ago.
The basic plot is that there are these creatures that exist in a separate dimension but somehow if you see them then they can get you. Two scenes I remember pretty well is that the movie begins with this sketchy friend of these other people wants to meet in a diner. While in the diner, the sketchy guy describes these things that are after him and for whatever reason decides to kill himself with a steak knife in the diner.
But now the friends know about these creatures so they go after them.
I don't remember too many other scenes except the last one which was in a hospital room where the star of the show disappears (seemingly) but has actually been captured into the creature's world through the closet and she can see out through what looks like glass and bangs on it but nobody can hear her. All around her in the dark are these creatures that you never really get a good look at but it's the darkness that's kinda creepy.
I've been trying to find the title to this movie and have just given up!
help?!? this description ring any bells for anyone??
thanks in advance!!

Elvis_Christ 03-03-2010 10:56 PM

What do you mean by "sketchy"?

http://www.legaljuice.com/flasher%20son.jpg

bumpn86civic 03-04-2010 09:41 AM

"sketchy" meaning he hadn't slept and was "talking crazy" about these things that were after him and stuff. I can't remember why he decided to stab himself; seems like he saw one of these things or something outside the diner.?. this is just starting to really bug me that I can't remember the title of this movie!

This is gonna be a tough one... I just remeber a bit from the trailers so... bare with me, i was 10 years old or something, and saw the trailer on a movie rental shop, it's from the same age as the The Lost Boys movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093437/... the whole movie had a green tone to it, and remember that the characters were in a elevator and they were attacked by monsters, honestly i don't remember pretty much.

It's an 80's movie, one of the few that i didn't saw and would really enjoy to see.

Sorry if i cause some headaches eheheh
