Well, me and the wife sat down to watch Cloverfield and about a good 20-25 minutes into it (the Brooklyn Bridge-crossing scene), she said that it was too loud, and wanted to see a more mellowed-down movie. :rolleyes:
Naturally, I gave her a blast...sheesh, anyway she agreed to give it another shot soon, so instead we sat down again and watched this : There's Something About Mary. Still as good as the last time I saw it...some of the scenes very outrageous, and very funny. Although some gags pushed the limits, overall there's something about this movie which makes you like it a lot, whoever you may be. Rating - * * * ½ |
