30 Days Of Night. My expectations were a little low since most people said it dragged bad in the middle, but I liked it quite a bit.I could have used a more final ending, but I dont know how the graphic novel ended, so I will reserve my judgment until I read it (my library has it)

I didnt think the middle dragged, i thought there was good tension, and how boring is 2 brutal decapitations? (one of a little girl, cmon!)

Jack the Giant Killer (1962) ... good fun in the Sinbad vein ..

Hatchet - thought this one was fun as well.

Commando.

Now THAT is one Dad every little girl would dream of having.

"Leave anything for us?"
"Just bodies."

Balls of Fury

I had REALLY low expectations and it barely rose above them. I did laugh a bit though and it was an ok time waster while we were waiting for the steak to finish cooking.

You laughed at the ping-pong against the old mans face in the beginning, right? ;) Quite original.

That was my biggest laugh in that movie.

I felt that a better/funnier lead actor could have done Balls Of Fury a lot of good. Oh, and i was VERY disappointet about the tournament which should have been a MUCH bigger part of the story. Just like Bloodsport, but with small balls. lol And he never get to play against the evil german. MAJOR bummer!!

There were a few other parts too. Lopez made me laugh even and I don't find him funny at ALL. When the lead guy asked if he was being arrested because of the heart attack and Lopez says "I thought that was part of the show. Until the ambulance showed up I was laughing my ass off." I have to admit I chuckled. Like you said though, the ping pong tourney didn't even really exist, it was a complete disappointment.
