Finished THE DELIGHT OF GREAT BOOKS, John Erskine's 1916 masterpiece of literary criticism and forerunner of Clifton Fadiman's THE LIFETIME READING PROGRAM. Hope to get to the latter later this year.

Think I'll start John Christopher's THE RAGGED EDGE tonignt before turning out the lights.

I just finished Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill. It's not amazing or anything but a solid ghost story.

At home i'm still reading Under The Dome by Stephen King.

On my phone i'm reading The Drawing of The Three by Stephen King

and at work on my lunch break i'm going to start reading The Last Apprentice: Rage of The Fallen

Just finished "Monsters in the Movies" by the great John Landis. OK its more pictures than words, but still an amazing commentary on the greatest ever creature flicks...

I saw that at Barnes and Noble and thought it looked pretty good.

Finally finished Watchers by Dean Koontz. I began really loving the setup of the book, and then later on felt like some parts were trite and sappy, particularly the love story and the center of the book. Also felt like some parts were rather generic. However, by the end, I was won over by the story of an intelligent dog and the loyalty he both exhibited and inspired. I actually woke up at 4 in the morning seized by the compulsion to FINISH THE BOOK. Even though I knew exactly what was going to happen and how everything was going to play out, I was very satisfied that it followed the course.

BOTTOM LINE: Would I recommend this book? Yes.

I'm going to butt into your conversation here, sorry. I loved the book! And I'm looking forward to the movie.
