And Ferretchucker, yes, they did end up being pretty expensive, but it was worth it. We had a blast, and everyone told us we were the best Joker/Batman out there.

We never got the chance anyway... I drank myself into unconsciousness, and when I woke up the next morning, there was white, red, and black makeup on EVERYTHING.

Ohh yeahh. Blonde hair is so porous, it will soak up any colour really quick. Sad your hair being green. There is this manic panic green gel you can get around here. Worked wonders for my bf when he played the Grinch in a play a few years back. You know.. just in case anyone is looking for more Joker hair ideas.

I know, now... Haha. Hindsight is 20/20. What's really sad is that I had my hair firetruck red for about two years (I just recently changed it back), and I absolutely could NOT get the color to stay in. I was dying my hair like every three weeks because it would fade to a weird orange color almost instantly.

You can still tell it's red though.

Red is the hardest color to get to stay.
The cheap stuff likes me better.
It lasts around 6 weeks without fading too much.
Anything that costs more goes to a orangish brown in under two weeks.
If you have any advice... ?

Yeah red hair fades really quickly and I still don't know why. There was an additive that we mixed with red colour at the salon to keep it from fading. It was essentially a really high pigmented demi-permenant colour, than when mixed with the permenant made it more vibrant.

the only thing that works is washing your hair with distilled water, which has a lower oxygen content han the stuff coming out of your tap. Red hair dye oxidises faster than other colors... so don't wash it and try to wear a hat out in the sun

Hooray for the Joker shirt!

So for New Year's Eve the boyfriend and I went to a club that had a "Hollywood Glamour" theme. They had a drag queen Joan Rivers and fake paparazzi (the following pictures they took there and posted them on www.sovip.com - TALK about classy - HA).

We were by FAR the oldest people there. AND the only ones who wanted to dance.

We felt... Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa little out of place to say the least.

But Chrono was delightfully drunky-drunk and just happy to be there with her Handsome Man. It was a good New Year's Eve. :D


Me Joan, and Mark. She grabbed us IMMEDIATELY when we came in (coats still on!)... We were... Uhm... Awkward (but Joan was AWESOME - the first thing she said to me was, "LOOK AT THOSE BOOBS." The rest of the night she kept saying, "Don't worry about those SKINNY bitches." Uhm... Yeah. Thanks, Joan.)
