I also remembered The Stepfather films, only seen the third and parts of the first one. Not really seen enough to form an opinion.

I don't know how many here know of them, but I remembered the Xtro trilogy. Only seen the first one which was quite possibly the weirdest movie ever. Never saw the sequels which are completely unrelated despite having the same director.

Xtro - OMG; haven't seen that since high school (also only saw the first one)

I've only seen the original, too. Such a bizarre film, even the director has admitted he doesn't know what to make of it.

Oh, and welcome to the board, Totem :) What's your favorite film of each of the listed series in the original post?

Friday The 13th: Part VI - Jason Lives [1986], but more for personal reasons.

Halloween: Definitely the first one.

A Nightmare On Elm Street: First one - even though Heather Langenkamp & Ronee Blakley spend the entire film competing for biggest over-actor.

Saw: First one.

Scream: Tie between first & second and that's a rare thing.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The original. I was pretty young, so the defiling I look back fondly on was massive.

Alien: First one hands down - even though I love Aliens [1986]

Predator: Rodriguez's Predators [2010] took the lead from the original - but not by much.

Phantasm: First one - love the graveyard love-making scene.

Evil Dead: First one. Also pretty young when I first saw.

Hellraiser: First one.

The Omen:
First one. This series best represents what you get when you drain the life out of a great idea. I mean, what was Omen IV even trying to do?

Final Destination: Third one - like Jason Lives - more for personal rather than cinematic reasons.

Thanks again for the welcome. ::cool::

Friday The 13th - VI - Jason Lives.

Halloween - The original

A Nightmare On Elm Street - The original obviously, but loved the last one too by Wes.

Saw - Second I think, but first is a classic.

Scream - Second one.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The original

Alien - Aliens

Predator - First one, although Rodriguez did a good job with Predators imo.

Phantasm - Never heard of them.

Evil Dead - The second one.

Hellraiser - Have yet to watch these (at least the first one).

Child's Play - The original.

Final Destination - First one.

Phantasm's an amazing series, see them all when you can.

I'm still behind on that series. I've only seen bits of the fourth.
