My boyfriend getting his matching tattoo to my roses. :D Just got the outline and shading done this weekend and he has an appointment in February for the color.

He got it on his right arm, I got mine on my left... His will be red.

You should check out Chris Cooper (Coop). His stuff is pretty cool and was one of the big factors in it's revival. Ed Roth meets traditional kinda deal. Not sure if his site has much art but Google will no doubt turn up a bunch.

You're better off going back to the original artwork rather than getting the inspiration from other tattoos. Taschen does a few books that aren't too pricey..
