Last one I watched was What Have You Done To Solange?, an interesting little Italian giallo.

That's good to hear... I was curious about it since I read the book (which I thought was pretty damn good). I'll have to check out the flick.

Hellboy 2 - fun enough - but nothing earth shaking

Journey to the Centre of the earth. ...

now this one has been advertizes as 3D ... so you know the movie will be weak - you're just supposed to enjoy the 3D effects. We paid for our tickets - asked where do we get the 3D glasses - and were told that it's only 3D in SELECT theatres.

fuckers.

so yeah - it would have been worth seeing in 3D but as a regular movie it was crap. and i was pissed.

I thought so.

Good performances. A few laughs. Not plenty, but good action. Sure there's flaws, such as the finale's laughable ''villain'', but overall it's a fun movie. If you go in with the lone expectation of being entertained, you should enjoy yourself.

Miracle Mile – A movie about nuclear war paranoia in 1980s LA, starring Anthony Edwards. Stupid; I turned it off after about 40 minutes.

The last movie I saw through to the end was: Ace in the Hole – A great Kirk Douglas movie about a crooked newspaper man trying to claw his way back to the big time on the back of a trapped miner. Good stuff.
